The Circle 8 Complex is located at the southwest intersection of Circle Drive (Yellowhead highway system) and Eighth Street, which by definition is the major intersection on the East side of the city. This intersection has one of the highest traffic counts on Saskatoon’s East side and it is also one of the busiest intersections in the city. Located on the ‘going home’ side of the street, it is easily accessed by convenience shoppers and business people exiting the downtown core. The average population demographic of the 3 mile radius surrounding the area is the most affluent in the city. This demographic contains an above average household income. 8th Street has long been considered the major retail corridor or ‘Golden Mile’ in the city.
The Complex includes Circle 8 Centre and Circle 8 Office, whose anchors include Saskatchewan’s Largest Liquor Store, McNally Robinson, Moxie’s Restaurant, CIBC Bank, and Pennington’s. Circle 8 Complex is within one block of The Centre at Circle & 8th, Saskatoon’s highest volume per square foot suburban shopping centre which includes such anchors as Indigo, Best Buy, Target, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sport Chek, Dollarama, Atmosphere/FGL Sports, Co-op and two major chartered banks. It is within two blocks of Saskatoon’s East side Superstore grocery store which services the East side of the City of Saskatoon as well as the large rural trading area.
