Railtown has been an important part of Vancouver's emerging economy for over a century. Most recently, in the last 20 years, its become one of the defined creative districts for clothing and accessory companies such as Aritzia and Hershel Supply and for a variety of tech related and post production companies (Hootsuite used to be in Railtown). This building is listed as office buts its really a light industrial building under the new i-4 zoning guidelines which acknowledge the rapid pace of change in the digital realm. Railtown offers walking access to Gastown and Downtown.
329 is a fantastic brick and timber building built in the 20's and upgraded in 1997 (75% of previous seismic requirement). The building is filled with hi quality, creative community tenants as well as 14 artist live/work studios. It features beautiful brick feature walls, concrete floors, large opening windows and dedicated HVAC and electrical panels in most suites. There is limited surface parking available.
